The accomodation...
You have the option of chooseing between the cowshed, the boarding house or my personal favorite the farm house.

The cowshed boasts a fantastic central living area, which provides an ideal setting for spending quality time with friends and family. A covered verandah wraps around the entire house, allowing breathtaking views of the glorious Badfontein Valley.

The boarding house sleeps sixteen people in eight double rooms, each room is equipped with its own on suite bathroom, and outdoor shower, as with all of the houses the boarding house lays claim to a magnificent veradah, and a breath taking view!

The farmhouse was designed with leisure in mind, and accommodates seven people with three double rooms and one single room. The farm house has an exquisite central living area, as well as a fully furnished covered verandah, which affords fantastic views of the sarrounding area. Each room has an outdoor shower, perfect for summer! Both the verandah and the farmhouse itself have fireplaces for a cozy atmosphere in winter. The farm house also boasts a fully equipped kitchen, as well as DSTV.

What to do and try there...
Get Married of course!!! Wilsonia is also one of those places where you will never be at a loss for what to do, the days can be as lazy or as energetic as you like, the area is incredibly well suited to long lazy walks, or just hanging out on the verandah, sipping coffee reading books, and watching the resident heard of Nguni cattle graze at your back door.

For the more energetic the farm also has numerous dams stocked with enourmous bass, and feisty trout. The wine weekends are a must and I am personally booking a weekend with celebrity chef Franz! Sounds just simple wonderfully. I also really like the idea of kicking back and relaxing with a great book, while watching the mist roll in from the mountains!
